along with the information above to the Media & Communications
Manager. Please send separate files of each covers. Try to
limit your cover file size to about 50KB to keep download time to a
reasonable period, for those with dial up connections. This can be done by
reducing the resolution to no more than 72 dpi, limiting the colour to 16
bits, and keeping the picture to about 200 pixels in height.
The
Media & Communications Manager will check to see that all required
information is there and forward to the webmaster, who will post the covers and synopsis. Take a look at the
several covers already posted; you can be there as well..
If you do not have images of your book covers....
Bring a copy of the cover/book to the next OIW meeting, or contact the Media & Communications Manager to make some other delivery arrangement. Follow the instructions as in the section above. The cover will be scanned and placed on the website, along with the other information, by the webmaster. The book jacket or book will be returned to you as soon as possible at the next meeting or according to arrangements you make.
NOTES
- Covers will be displayed in the sequence received. If you have more than one book you want displayed in a group, clearly indicate which titles should be shown together.
